Dorothy Spooner is a local artist who has had a love for art since early childhood. Twenty years ago Dorothy began exploring her own talents by attending art classes and painting in watercolors.

Also a photographer, Dorothy paints from photographs and memories of her numerous travels overseas. Her subject matter spreads from gentle, peaceful seascapes to vibrant flowers and mesmerizing still life – from old wooden Queenslanders to thatched English cottages.

Dorothy has further extended her artistic talents in recent years with Pastels and Acrylics. Her mastery of diverse mediums presents a varied collection of artworks and something to suit most tastes.

Dorothy paints from her home studio at Hope Island and exhibits work in her own Gallery. Dorothy is available for special commissions.
